On February 25th, 2020 by the decision of the Board of Akropolis Group, Mantas Kuncaitis has been appointed the Chairman of the Board and the Acting Director. M. Kuncaitis replaces Vytautas Labeckas in the above-mentioned positions.
“The decision was made by mutual agreement, with Akropolis Group being at the highest point. We are thankful to V. Labeckas for leading the company, which completed the construction and opening of the new Akropole shopping center in Riga, as well as the Vilnius Akropolis renewal project “Akropolis changes” and is on the way towards the construction of the new Akropolis Vingis multifunctional complex in southern Vilnius. VP Group is planning the unprecedented investments in to this new project in Vilnius and in the city infrastructure, so after Mr. Labeckas' departure, we will seek to continue our close communication and collaboration with the Municiplaity and residents at the highest level”, said M. Kuncaitis.
"During the year and a half, we have opened a new shopping and entertainment center in Riga, with a growing number of visitors every month, as well as completed the renewal project of Vilnius Akropolis. The Akropolis Vingis project also has large progress, the public announcement process has started and Akropolis is talking to the city community. During the period while I was in charge of the Akropolis Group, I had a great opportunity to apply the experience I have gained over many years, but at the same time, I gained a lot of new experience to be used in the future”, said V. Labeckas.
The Board of Akropolis Group consists of the following members: Mantas Kuncaitis, Jurgita Žagunytė-Genevičienė, Vitalij Bedugnis and Dovidas Vainorius.
