An important part of our plans is maintenance of the surrounding environment, as well as creating shopping center we focus on new generation offer in one place for our customers - this will be a unique offer in Latvian retail industry. On top of gathering most famous world-wide and local brands under one roof, we pay special attention to wide entertainment possibilities - there will be an ice rink, it will be possible to enjoy movies at the cinema complex, play bowling, have a nice meal at restaurants and spend time in spacious children entertainment area. Also, everyone will be able to experience the spirit of Kuznecov's porcelain factory - an old city area inspired by the old factory will be created by placing antique brick building reproductions within the shopping centre,” about the project tells “Akropolis Group” CEO and Chairman of the board Saulė Zabulionytė.

On 13th of September, 2016, approval for changes in technical design of the project was received from Riga City Construction Board. Technical project was coordinated in 2015 but in order to offer the most convenient shopping center several amendments were made after reconciliation of technical project.

In order to create multifunctional shopping center “Akropole” sustainable, environmentally friendly and provide the necessary conveniences for all potential visitors (for example, providing easy access and comfort for people with disabilities), throughout the construction will be implemented BREEAM* certification and quality criteria. “Akropole” will be the only one multifunctional shopping center in Latvia which will be built according to these quality criteria.
